Catina Taylor has over 24 years of experience in education, inspiring young readers and fostering a love for learning. She began her career in July 2000, teaching middle school before transitioning to first grade, where she helped students become confident and enthusiastic readers. Her last several years in the classroom were spent teaching high school students History.
Catina is a passionate advocate for literacy and education, with over two decades of experience as an educator, lawyer, and nonprofit leader. As the founder of DREAMS KC, she empowers parents with the tools they need to teach foundational literacy skills, ensuring every child can become a confident and competent reader.
